William joined Vivid Optical in September 2022, he has more than 25 years of experience. William was born in Tamworth NSW and studied optometry in Brisbane. William lived & worked in Adelaide after graduation, working there for a number of years before moving to Tasmania in 2005.
William says Tasmania is a great place to live & bring up a family, he has worked in Devonport, Launceston and surrounding regions. William has always enjoyed helping people with their vision concerns and is happy to meet new people and have a chat about their lives. William makes sure that those seeking his advice are given the best options, which may be new glasses, possible contact lenses, advice, a prescription for eye drops and in some cases, a referral to a specialist.
Outside of work, he spends time with his children supporting them in their pursuits. William also enjoys staying fit, tinkering with gadgets and computers, experimenting in the kitchen and doing a bit of DIY. Also trying to keep up with his son on their mountain bikes.
